WONDERKID a film by Rhys Chapman, tackles one of football's biggest issues - homophobia. The film is part of a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the lack of openly gay professionals in the sport. This is their badass team and we've seen them improve so much over the past year it's concerning, really.

Founded By Bobby Kasanga, emphasis is on being a ‘community’ team. Hackney Wick is a mix of strong women in a variety of careers and from different backgrounds which only makes the team closer and a more powerful unit. 2016 brought the first football league season for the ladies team.
Hackney Laces is a community supported and run football club for girls and women in East London. Training sessions are delivered with the goal of teaching skills both on and off the pitch. With sister clubs in Limehouse and South London, each week you'll find the Laces scattered upon pitches around London, laughing, playing and attempting some of the most Maradona-esque handballs you''re likely ever to see.
The warriors are all about fun, fitness and friendly football. We range in age and ability from complete beginners to regular players. We work to develop participation among females and one way we do this is by providing a safe and free space where all can come and let their hair down; thats the beauty of our squad.
East London Ladies FC is an all women's grassroots football club based in East London, consisting of a senior ladies team and three girls teams, under 12's, under 9's and under 6's. The club was set up by Pallavi Patel and Vivienne Jeffers due to their passion and desire to give girls and women in the local area a chance to play football at a grassroots level, regardless of their age, ethnicity or ability.
Boiler Room Ladies FC was formed in 2012 and is made up of women from all corners of the creative industry. We work together on and off the pitch to build a relaxed, diverse and social environment where common interests reshape the world of women's grassroots football.
